Project Summary

Overview

Stites Consulting Inc is an established company that has been operating since 2017. While the business was well defined, the visual identity had remained unchanged since its early days.

They had a logo in place, but no supporting brand system, which led to inconsistencies across applications. After seeing the branding work completed for Studio 710, a sister company, Stites Consulting recognized the opportunity to bring the same level of clarity and consistency to their own brand.

Solution

The focus of the project was building a complete brand system rather than simply updating a logo.

This included refining the existing logo, developing clear brand guidelines, and redesigning the website to align with the updated visual identity. The result was a cohesive system that could be applied consistently across all materials.

Outcome

The most significant outcome of the project was the introduction of a clear brand system that supports consistency as the business continues to grow.

Internally, the team now has shared guidelines that make it easier to apply the brand across materials and touchpoints. Externally, the updated branding presents a more cohesive and professional image that aligns with the experience and credibility of Stites Consulting.

The brand now reflects where the company is today and provides a clear framework for future use.

Process

Before any design work began, time was spent understanding the business, including its services, team structure, values, and long-term goals.

The process combined questionnaires, conversations, and collaborative workshops to ensure alignment before moving into visual decisions. Particular attention was given to typography, as it plays a key role in long-term consistency.
